An application for recording of change of residence in the Certificate
of Registration of a motor vehicle shall be made by the owner of the
vehicle in Form 33 duly paying the appropriate fee as specified
in Rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.

Assignment of Registration Number |An application for making an entry of Hire-Purchase, Lease or Hypothecation agreement in the Certificate of Registration of a motor vehicle shall be made in Form 34 in duplicate, duly signed by the registered owner of the vehicle and the Financier, duly paying the appropriate fee as specified in Rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989.

Termination of Hire-Purchase agreement
An application for making an entry of termination of Hire-Purchase, Lease or Hypothecation agreement in the Certificate of Registration of a motor vehicle shall be made in Form 35 in duplicate, duly signed by the registered owner of the vehicle and the Financier, duly paying the appropriate fee as specified in Rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.

Assignment of Registration Number
An application for the assignment of a new registration mark shall be made in Form No.27 and shall be accompanied by a No Objection Certificate in Form No.28 along with the appropriate fee as specified in Rule 81. On receipt of an application, the Registering Authority shall, subject to the provisions of Section 44, assign to the vehicle the registration mark and number which falls in serial order after the last registration mark assigned.
