An application for renewal of Certificate of Registration of a Non Transport
Vehicle shall be made in Form 25 not more than 60 days before the
date of its expiry, by paying the appropriate fee as specified in Rule
81 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989, to the Registration Authority
in whose jurisdiction the vehicle is included.

Issue
of Duplicate Certificate of Registration
An application for Issue of a duplicate Certificate
of Registration shall be made in Form 26. If covered by Hire Purchase
Agreement/Lease/Finance with the signatures of the Financier on Form 26
in duplicate, duly paying the appropriate fee as specified in Rule 81
of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989, to the Registration Authority
in whose jurisdiction the vehicle is included.

Copy of notice of loss of Registration Certificate and objection called
for published in a local Daily. No Objection Certificate of the financier
of the vehicle if covered by hypothecation/lease.
