An applicant is eligible to apply for authorisation to drive transport vehicles other than Auto-rickshaws, only after holding a driving licence for a light motor vehicle for a minimum period of one year. Besides, the applicant should be above the age of 20 years. The experience is not required for authorisation to drive an autorickshaw.

Requirements

1. Application Form  L T A.

2. (a)  Form 1 (Self declaration as to the physical fitness for Non-Transport
   Vehicles only)    or

   (b) Form No IA (Medical Certificate for transport vehicles only).

3. Form No. 5 (Certificate issued by a school or establishment).

4. Form FA (First Aid Certificate).

5. A conduct certificate (issued by an MP, MLA, any Gazetted Officer, President/             Chairman/Mayer of a local body)

6. Recent pass port size photographs - 2 Nos.

7. Valid Driving Licence.

8. Receipt for payment of fees of Rs. 20/-.
